I have been a Board member of the Barnsley and Rotherham Chamber of Commerce for over two years and I can honestly say that it has been a rewarding and enriching experience. The Chamber is a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation that supports and represents its members in various ways, such as advocacy, networking, training, events and awards.
Through the Chamber, I have made great connections with other businesses and organisations in the region, as well as with the local authorities and decision-makers. The Chamber is always looking for new opportunities and initiatives to help its members grow and thrive in a competitive and changing environment.
What I appreciate most about the Chamber is that they always put their members at the heart of everything they do. They listen to their needs and feedback, and they act on them. They are not afraid to challenge the status quo and to champion the interests of their members. They are a true voice of the business community in Barnsley and Rotherham.
