Over £1,000 Raised for Barnsley FC Community Trust at Sold-Out Chamber’s Charity Quiz

Barnsley & Rotherham Chamber’s Charity Quiz was a resounding success, raising over £1,000 in support of the Barnsley FC Community Trust, the Chamber’s Charity of the Year.

Held at the Holiday Inn Barnsley on Tuesday, 25th February, the sold-out event brought together businesses, community members, and quiz enthusiasts for an evening of fun, friendly competition, and fundraising. Teams battled it out over a range of quiz rounds, covering everything from general knowledge, picture rounds and US states, all while supporting an incredible cause.

A key highlight of the evening was the charity raffle, which contributed significantly to the final fundraising total. Generous donations from local businesses and the Barnsley FC Community Trust’s helped raise crucial funds that will directly support the Trust’s work in the local community.
