New themed accommodation adds the wow factor at Gulliver’s Valley
Families visiting Gulliver’s Valley are enjoying sleeping in some amazing new accommodation options this summer as the resort continues with its exciting expansion plans.
Hot on the heels of the new ‘Gears’ ride area which opened last month, the Rotherham theme park has now opened some brand-new Mermaid Dens and an impressive Megalodon-inspired creation for guests to stay over in.
Both are unique to Gulliver’s Valley as they are not available at any of the other three Gulliver’s sites in the UK.
The two Mermaid Dens provide a magical underwater world, sleeping up to four people and complete with nautical accessories around every corner. This accommodation includes a double bed, bunk beds, microwave and fridge.
The Megalodon Lodge is the ideal Jurassic hideout that can sleep up to six people. The design has been inspired by the ancient Megalodon Shark, which is considered to be the largest shark that ever lived. Just behind the lodge you’ll find the Lost World area of the theme park where you can meet roaring, tail-thrashing dinosaurs.
But it doesn’t stop there as also on offer are six new pirate lodges giving the perfect stay for families with little ones who love everything Jack Sparrow! Sleeping up four people, the wooden cabins also have their own kitchen facilities and outdoor space.
Continuing with the seafaring theme, the two Captain’s Den units sleep up to four people who can experience the luxurious Captain’s Quarters with opulent features designed especially for the captain of the ship along with a shower and toilet facilities.
These latest additions add to the Gulliver’s Valley accommodation offering which also boasts Unicorn and Princess Suites alongside Western Cabins and Lost World Lodges.
Andy Flowers, resort manager at Gulliver’s Valley said: “Expanding our offering is a key aim for us here at Gulliver’s Valley so we are incredibly excited about creating these new Pirate Lodges and Mermaid Den’s, Captain Den’s and the impressive ‘Megalodon’ which are a welcome addition to our range of themed accommodation options here at Gulliver’s Valley.
“The feedback has been fantastic, and it is great to know that those who have stayed in them have appreciated the new look and feel. We like to provide something different to our guests that are suitable for all tastes and these really add to the experience of staying at Gulliver’s Valley!
“Welcoming customers back to our accommodation has been wonderful and we are looking forward to lots more summer fun. This is just the start for us so it’s a really exciting time as we look to bring as much family fun to the resort as possible.”
