Who is the Course Aimed at?

 The IPAF MEWP for Managers course provided by Eagle Platforms is tailor-made for helping managers of companies that use MEWPs understand where their management and legal responsibilities lie.
 

Course details

Over the duration of the full day course managers will learn about safe use of MEWPs on-site, how best to plan and assess and mitigate risk prior to starting work and how to choose the most appropriate equipment.

As well as the planning, supervising and managing aspects, which are covered in depth, the course will make managers aware of the legal responsibilities covered under UK health and safety legislation and help to teach managers to recognize common potential hazards before they become very real and potentially catastrophic accidents.

The course itself will culminate in a written theory test that delegates must pass in order to receive their IPAF certificate. If you also hold a valid PAL (Powered Access Licence) for operating equipment then the MEWPs for Managers accreditation can be added to your existing card.
