As an individual, learn how to take part in keeping safe and smart online. This module will teach you good practices in managing your presence online, offline and through peer sharing (e.g. social media apps).
The sessions will involve a mix of theory and practice to help develop an awareness of the security risks and an understanding of the practices and skills that can help reduce those risks.
Pre-requisites:
You understand common pitfalls of cyber security.
To qualify for this course, you must be employed or in South Yorkshire.
Who should attend?
So much work is done online these days, no-one should be unaware of the risks that come with it. Everyone should have a basic grasp of the risks involved and what to do if your data or, company data is compromised, and how to mitigate the common risks before they occur. Everyone is responsible for a company’s cyber security.
