Its been a challenging year for us all, it doesn’t seem 12 months since Tankersley Manner IWD. What a Celebration we all had, I will never take for granted the time we spend together and now we experience the joy IWD on a whole new platform.
Everyone within our WIB all have had many challenges, both in business and our personal lives. The theme of IWD this year is appropriately “Lets all choose to challenge” #ChooseToChallenge
Come and share with us the highs the lows the bit in the middle, we are going to give you the tools to “nourish and Flourish” your way through 2021 and beyond. We Have live music and poetry and we will be sharing our journeys with you, so come celebrate with us on the 8th of March online at 12.30-2.45.

About The Speakers
Sile Sibanda
Sile Sibanda is a spoken word performer, radio & stage presenter and Events & Q&A host. She has been involved in creative and community projects for many years.
Sile has has previous roles including children’s university ambassador, speaking in various events including The house of Lords and has been an active part of the Writing Collective Hive and hosted open mics and events for Hive over the last few years.
Sile has also hosted Harms of Hate Event in Rotherham, Diversity Festival at the Rotherham Show 2 years running. Whilst studying Forensic Science with Psychology at Derby University, Sile became the co-host of their Live Open day Facebook show and represented Derby University at the Poetry Slam Competition in Birmingham and performed at Derby’s first TEDx event.
In 2019 she won the BBC Radio Sheffield This is Me competition and subsequently became the host of the evening show on BBC Radio Sheffield. Sile is passionate about reading books from different countries and Authors, Writing whilst listening to Jazz. She loves the outdoors and Traveling.
