About
Rush House is a local independent charity based in Rotherham. Originally set up in 1982 to respond to the increasing levels of homelessness in the area. We now provide fully furnished and supported accommodation to 16-25 year olds who are homeless, inappropriately housed, care leavers and those who are vulnerable and at risk.
we have a tenancy training programme which educates young people on all the skills they need to manage a tenancy successfully. We also provide a service working with 18-30 year olds who are not in education training or employment and support them to overcome any barriers they may face to returning to EET. We have accommodated over 900 young people in the last 10 years and have supported 1500 with our EET services.
