About

The roots of Hawsons’ Doncaster office date back to 1934 when Harold Moon established his practice in the town. Originally operating from Westminster Buildings on the High Street the practice then relocated to Albion House on South Parade in 1962.

The practice grew under the proprietorship of Doug Aldred and merged with Hawsons in 1990. Doug Aldred retired in 1999 after 49 years and was succeeded by Richard Marsh. Richard was joined by Martin Wilmott who had served in the Doncaster office since the 1990 merger. Continued growth meant that Hawsons needed to seek new premises in Doncaster and the office eventually moved to its current location in Sidings Court in 2004. Richard has since retired in June 2018 and Martin in June 2022. Paul Wormald and Dan Wood were appointed as partners in the office in 2014 and 2021 respectively; and work hard to ensure the continued success of Hawsons in Doncaster.
