About
As a small business or start up are you struggling to access funding to help you start or grow? Sadly, many small business owners are often shackled by the constraints of traditional finance; held back by geographical limitations, industry biases, and systemic inequalities.
We help break those shackles. In the last 11 years, we've injected over £108 million into small businesses, boosted the economy by £392.4 million, and helped create or safeguard 13,140 jobs. But it's not all about the money – it’s about making real dreams come true, creating jobs, and changing communities for the better Working closely with partners such the British Business Bank, BEF is a regional Business Support Partner for the Government's Start Up Loans Programme which offers finance and support to young businesses across Yorkshire and The Humber and the North East. BEF is also the Fund Manager for the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund II (NPIF II), enabling us to offer small business loans from £25,000 to £100,000 to businesses in Yorkshire and The Humber.
