Barnsley Hospice

Celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, Barnsley Hospice provides specialist palliative and end of life care for adults living with a progressive life-limiting illness, and the people close to them.

The hospice offers support for people from the point of diagnosis and throughout their palliative care journey, including at the end of their life. A wide range of services are available, helping people to live well, manage their symptoms and access expert support from their multidisciplinary team. Services include a 10-bed inpatient unit, a support and wellbeing service, counselling, bereavement support and more.

As a charity, the hospice relies on the support of donations, grants, and legacies to raise approximately two-thirds of its running costs each year. This would not be possible without the wonderful local community, who have supported the hospice for over 30 years.
