Belton Park Pavilion Announces Appointment of Anthony Temperton as New Chairman

Belton Park Pavilion, a long established venue for community events and activities in Belton, is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr. Anthony Temperton as its new Chairman, effective immediately.

Anthony brings a wealth of experience in business leadership through his management of Barnsley & Rotherham Chamber platinum member KAT Communications as well as experience in community engagement with his volunteering for Doncaster Business for the Community. His proven track record of business planning, promoting collaboration, and driving growth makes him an invaluable addition to the Pavilion’s leadership.

“We are thrilled to welcome Anthony to Belton Park Pavilion as our new Chairman,” said Don Rowing. “His family history in Belton and love for Belton coupled with his impressive professional background, will be key in guiding the Pavilion through its next chapter of history. We are confident that under his guidance, the Pavilion will continue to thrive as a vital asset for the Belton and Isle of Axholme Community.”

Anthony expressed his excitement for his new role, stating, “It’s an honour to be appointed Chairman of Belton Park Pavilion. The pavilion and playing fields have held a special place in the heart of the village for many years, and the team of volunteers here are focused on bringing people together through this amazing village asset. I look forward to contributing to its ongoing success.”

As Chairman, Anthony will be responsible for leading the Board of Trustees and volunteers, overseeing the future direction of the Pavilion and playing fields, and ensuring its long-term sustainability. He will work closely with these volunteers, and the community to further enhance its offerings and strengthen its role within the local and wider community.

Belton Park Pavilion would also say thank you to Mr David Ripley for his many years of volunteering and direction as the outgoing Chairperson, and also announce his new role as Lifetime President for Belton Park Pavilion.
