Barnsley & Rotherham Chamber Raises £1,658 for FareShare Yorkshire at Newly Launched Golf Day  

Barnsley & Rotherham Chamber of Commerce is delighted to announce the success of its first Chamber Golf Day, held at the picturesque Rotherham Golf Club. This event, hosted in association with ONS group, brought together over 18 teams of enthusiastic golfers for a day of spirited competition, networking, and charitable giving. 

We are proud to share that the event raised an impressive £1,658 for FareShare Yorkshire, the Chamber’s Charity of the Year. FareShare Yorkshire is dedicated to alleviating food poverty in the region, and the funds raised from this event will significantly contribute to their mission of supporting those in need. 

The competition was fierce, but it was Palmer Construction who emerged victorious, earning the prestigious title and the opportunity to compete in the South Yorkshire Chambers Champion of Champions competition. Congratulations to Palmer Construction for their outstanding performance!

Rotherham Golf Club provided a great setting, and the buzz among the participants was fantastic. We’re grateful to everyone who helped make this day a success, especially for such a worthy cause.” 

Attendees enjoyed a day filled with friendly competition, the chance to win exciting prizes, and the opportunity to make new connections against the beautiful backdrop of Rotherham Golf Club.
