The stage is set for an evening of celebration and recognition as the Barnsley and Rotherham Business Awards gears up to honour the exceptional achievements of businesses and individuals across South Yorkshire. Scheduled for Friday, 8th November 2024, at the iconic Magna Science Adventure Centre in Rotherham, this annual event, now in its 14th year, promises to be a highlight on the region’s business calendar.

This year’s Awards Ceremony, hosted by the Barnsley & Rotherham Chamber of Commerce, will gather over 500 guests and delegates to applaud the resilience, creativity, and dedication to business growth demonstrated by the Barnsley, Rotherham, and South Yorkshire business community.

The Barnsley and Rotherham Business Awards will feature a diverse array of categories, recognising excellence and innovation across various sectors. From acknowledging the contributions of budding Apprentices through the Apprentice of the Year Award to celebrating the dynamism of new businesses with the Most Promising New Business Award, the ceremony will spotlight the breadth of talent and innovation in the region across multiple categories.

Additionally, the Awards will pay tribute to inspirational business leaders with the Business Person of the Year Award and commend workplaces committed to staff development through the Commitment to People Development Award. Businesses demonstrating outstanding customer service will be honoured with the Excellence in Customer Service Award, while those making a positive impact on their local communities will receive the Business Community Impact Award.

The Sustainability Award will highlight businesses championing sustainable practices, while the new Large Business of the Year Award will celebrate the contributions of national and global organisations that make South Yorkshire their home.
