Shane Young
Shane Young is the Operations Director at the Barnsley & Rotherham Chamber. Over the course over the last 10 years, Shane has shouldered increasing responsibilities within the Chamber initially starting as a Member Executive through to his current role today.
In his current capacity, Shane oversees all aspects of Chamber operations, from strategic partnerships to facilitating the delivery of support services and activities for members. Serving as the primary liaison for the Chamber’s 20 Patrons, Shane’s role gives him the opportunity to interact with influential business leaders from across the region.

Lynne Urpeth brings a wealth of experience and dedication to her role as Membership Manager at Barnsley & Rotherham Chamber since 2023. Ivy Goh assumed the role of Finance Manager at the Barnsley & Rotherham Chamber in January 2023, bringing a wealth of financial expertise and strategic insight to the team. With her keen eye for detail and analytical skills, Ivy oversees the generation of financial reporting, as well as the development of comprehensive planning and budgeting strategies. Louise Clarke
Louise Clarke brings over two decades of invaluable experience to the Barnsley & Rotherham Chamber. Having originally joined the Chamber in 1994, Louise has served in various departments for over 18 years. After a short break, Louise returned five years ago, continuing her passion for supporting local businesses. Currently serving as the International Trade Executive, Louise plays a pivotal role in facilitating export and import activities for Chamber members.
Her responsibilities include managing export documentation such as Certificates of Origin and EUR1s with fantastic attention to detail. Louise is the go-to person for members seeking assistance with customs procedures and any other queries related to international trade.
Laura Rudkin
Laura Rudkin has been an integral part of the Barnsley & Rotherham Chamber since September 2014, bringing extensive experience and dedication to her role. As the Training & Export Executive, Laura plays a vital role in supporting members with international trade inquiries and processing export documentation. Additionally, she assists Chamber Skills Solutions by processing bookings and ensuring delegates receive their certificates promptly, while also ensuring all course information complies with relevant regulations.
