Full-time, Permanent
- 8.30am-4.30pm over Monday to Thursday & 8am-4pm on Friday’s
- Salary – £32,000 per annum (includes car allowance)
- Bonus structure in place
- Location: Hybrid Working

- Holiday Entitlement: 25 holiday days per annum, plus bank holidays, plus Christmas closure week, plus Birthday off.
- Access to own vehicle is essential as you will be required to travel to see customers.

We have an exciting opportunity to employ a Membership Manager to join our team and play a key role in growing and managing our membership base.
As the Membership Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team focused on membership recruitment & retention and ensuring the overall satisfaction and engagement of our membership community. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a strong background in management, sales and customer service and a passion for supporting local businesses.
The successful candidate will continually review the membership offering and services with the guidance of the Operations Director, to ensure it continues to meet the needs of our members and delivering the revenue identified within the Business Plan.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategies to attract new members, including identifying target industries, creating marketing campaigns, and attending relevant business events.
Manage the onboarding process for new members, ensuring a smooth transition and providing them with the necessary resources and information to maximize their membership benefits.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing members, regularly seeking feedback, and identifying opportunities for engagement and additional support.
Work closely with the events team to deliver and host events, such as networking sessions, workshops, and seminars, fostering a sense of community and providing valuable networking opportunities.
To work with the SLT on the financial management of the department (budget setting / financial accountability).
Collaborate with the Chamber’s marketing team to create compelling membership materials, including brochures, newsletters, and online content.
Keep accurate records of membership data, including contact details, membership levels, and payment information.
Monitor membership retention rates and implement strategies to improve member satisfaction and reduce churn.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, ensuring the Chamber’s membership offerings remain relevant and competitive.
