Chamber of Commerce to celebrate the Region’s business Revival with a Party like no other
Barnsley & Rotherham Chamber is planning to celebrate the strength of the local business community and reflect upon the challenges many have faced during one of toughest periods of trading in generations by hosting a unique celebration like no other.
Set to take place at Magna on 12th November, the Chamber’s Celebration for Business, promises to deliver a carnival-like atmosphere, plenty of hidden surprises, topped off with great food, wine and a packed entertainment programme.
Using the theme ‘giving back’ the event will place an emphasis upon helping local businesses to re-connect with each other, and to thank those for the efforts made during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Placing an emphasis on fun, the event will give a nod to those businesses who received the President’s Recognition and recognise the longstanding commitment to the local community of businesses celebrating milestone anniversaries with a Salute to Business, as well as announcing the Chamber’s chosen Charity of the Year for 2022.
Businesses which have celebrated milestone anniversary in either 2020 or 2021 are eligible to apply for a Salute to Business by contacting the Barnsley & Rotherham Chamber team, and to make the evening a memorable occasion, sponsorship packages are now available, with proceeds being used to support the Chamber’s chosen charities, as well as helping to create an unforgettable evening of celebrations.
Joada Allen the President of Barnsley & Rotherham Chamber said:
“The past twelve months have challenged businesses across the region in many different ways. The response from local businesses has been incredible, with many going above and beyond as they adapted to life during Covid-19.
“I’ve been privileged to witness some inspirational acts of business innovation, support and kindness since the beginning of the pandemic and this this year’s event is all about giving back. Adding that during the past 12 months, the Chamber has worked tirelessly to provide ongoing support and access to advice at times when our members needed it the most.
“There won’t be any long speeches or drawn out presentations and rather than host our usual business awards we felt it was more appropriate to invite local companies to come together, relax and enjoy an unmissable evening.
As we look forward to the lifting of further lockdown restrictions, we wanted to find a way of thanking our members for their efforts and to celebrate the strength and diversity of our local business community.
Sponsorship packages are now available; for more information contact Barnsley & Rotherham Chamber on 01709 386200
