A one-day workshop for Sales Professionals dealing with the specific challenges of selling and staying motivated in an economic downturn. In addition to our five follow-up’s this workshop will be supported with two online review sessions in the first three months along with an online Q&A portal.
Who is Selling in a Downturn for? This cohort style course is aimed at SME’s who want access to the same powerful sales strategies developed for our corporate clients.
What challenge does this address? During turbulent economic times, selling becomes much more difficult, budgets are frozen, new projects are delayed or cancelled altogether. Competition for the business that is still up for grabs is brutal, and pressure from buyers to drop prices is fierce.
How will Selling in a Downturn meet the challenge? Covid aside it’s been 14 years since the last major economic downturn, and since 2008 there have been more good years than bad, all in all over this period we’ve had it easy. When things get tough and the phone stops ringing you need to double down and start working harder on the things that matter.

How the Skills Bank part funding works? Any South Yorkshire business can purchase up to two tickets for this event and claim back 70% of the cost of the event. Simply purchase and pay for the tickets using the website link below, we will confirm the ticket purchase to Skills Bank and your company will be issued a contract via Calderdale College, on completion of the training you will be reimbursed directly to your bank account.
After the part funding any South Yorkshire business can access this course for £96.00 + VAT per person for up to two people.
