12:20 – 13:20 Session 1 – Introduction to IP & Developing an IP Strategy (Suzy Cornwell, BIPC) We will briefly introduce the four areas of intellectual property -Copyright, Trademarks, Patents and Registered Designs. By directing you to using the IPO’s online support tools you will be able to start to identify your assets and develop a strategy.

13:30 – 14:30 Session 2 – Intro to Launchpad & Starting a Business (RIDO) The Rotherham Investment & Development Office will be introducing what business support is available in Rotherham, tools and tips to get you started and the first steps you can take to conduct market research, and discuss why it’s important in the early stages of setting up your business.

14:40 – 15:40 Session 3 – Using the BIPC Business information Databases (Suzy Cornwell, BIPC) This is an interactive session on how you can use the free BIPC databases for your market research and business information needs.
