Brexit – after years of debate, a referendum and a General Election, we’re on the last 3 months of the Transition Period and our separation from the EU as a member state.
Come 1st January 2021, we will be trading with the EU as a ‘Third’ country, regardless of whether we have a Free Trade agreement in place or not. With this new status will come increased compliance responsibilities & paperwork for businesses. Indeed, if the government does negotiate a Free Trade Deal, that won’t mean less compliance and paperwork responsibilities but more.
