Course Overview

This course is designed for staff that intend to routinely complete semi-skilled tasks associated with controlling the risk of legionella bacteria in hot & cold water systems.

These could include such tasks as:

• TMV servicing
• Cold water storage tank inspections
• Basic microbiological sampling
• Inspection and cleaning of calorifiers
• Expansion vessel purging

Those persons will typically be maintenance staff but may be Responsible Persons / Deputy Responsible Persons who require deeper practical knowledge.
